Rangers Come Back To Beat Royals In Extras

The Rangers captured their rubber match against the Royals with a 3-2 victory in 10 innings at Kauffman Stadium. Jon Gray got the start and struck out seven while allowing two runs over seven innings. Kirby Yates was credited with his third win of the season after striking out two over a couple scoreless innings of relief. Nathaniel Lowe drove in the go-ahead run with a single in the top of the 10th. Texas improved to 19-and-16. The Rangers visit the Oakland Athletics tonight. Left-hander Andrew Heaney will start opposite Oakland southpaw Alex Wood.
